After the client provided the interior concept plan, we first reviewed the hotel site dimensions and then developed detailed shop drawings for the custom woodwork and guest room fixed furniture. Since the overall design style was consistent across the project, one guest room mock-up was completed before mass production to confirm the spatial effect, dimensions, material application and installation details.
After the mock-up room was approved by the client, the project moved into batch production. The finished products were delivered to the site and installed in batches according to the hotel construction schedule, helping coordinate production, delivery and on-site installation for the hospitality project.

The Challenge
The main challenge of this hotel custom woodwork project came from guest room finishing details, lighting coordination and installation connections. For the guest room entrance doors, the door frame and interior wood veneer wall panels needed to be carefully connected, especially where casing lines were not used. Therefore, door frame dimensions, wall panel thickness and installation details had to be confirmed during the shop drawing development stage.
For the headboard wall panels, LED strips were installed inside the woodwork system, but light leakage could occur at the panel joints after installation. To prevent this, we grooved the adjacent edges of the wood veneer panels and inserted edge banding strips to block the light from passing through the joints.
The night light wiring under the bed base also required early coordination. Since the power connection needed to run from the wall lighting circuit into the bed base, lighting points and wiring routes had to be checked against the interior lighting drawings before production to avoid wiring problems or on-site rework.

Project Notes
This hotel custom woodwork project shows that guest room mock-up approval is an important step before mass production. For hospitality projects, confirming the spatial effect, dimensions, material application and installation details in one sample room can help reduce risks before producing repeated guest room units.
The project also highlights the importance of coordination between custom woodwork, interior lighting and on-site installation. Guest room entrance door details, wood veneer wall panel connections, headboard LED strip treatment and bed base night light wiring all needed to be checked during the shop drawing development stage.
For similar hotel fixed furniture and hospitality custom woodwork projects, key control points include site measurement, detailed shop drawings, mock-up room approval, lighting point coordination, panel joint treatment, batch production planning and phased on-site installation.
