Project Overview

The client provided the interior design drawings and initial concept plan. During the project, the design of each functional area was adjusted according to the client’s requirements. After each area effect was confirmed, we prepared small samples, carried out site measurements for the corresponding area and then developed detailed shop drawings. Before batch production, we completed one guest room mock-up based on the final confirmed design and drawings. After the client approved the overall effect, dimensions, materials and installation details, the project moved into batch production. The finished hotel custom woodwork and guest room furniture were then delivered to the site and installed in batches according to the project schedule.

The Challenge

The main challenge of this hotel custom woodwork project was the wiring coordination for the night lights under the bed bases. The night light power needed to be connected from the interior wall lighting circuit and routed into the bed base structure. Since this wiring had to be planned before bed base production, the lighting points and cable routes needed to be checked against the interior lighting drawings in advance. This helped reduce the risk of wiring conflicts, installation problems or on-site rework after the bed bases were already produced.

Project Notes

This hotel custom woodwork project shows that guest room mock-up approval and lighting coordination are important before batch production. For hospitality projects, confirming each functional area, preparing small samples, checking site dimensions and developing detailed shop drawings can help reduce mistakes before producing repeated guest room furniture units. The project also highlights the need to coordinate custom woodwork with interior lighting drawings. Bed base night light wiring should be reviewed before production, especially when the power route needs to connect from the wall lighting circuit into the furniture structure. For similar hotel fixed furniture projects, key control points include functional area approval, mock-up room confirmation, accurate site measurement, lighting point coordination, wiring route review, batch production planning and phased on-site installation.
