Usually used as a substrate. The surface can be covered with decorative panels, wood veneer, overlay panels or other wall finishing layers.
Door frame substrates, wall panel substrates, on-site woodwork substrates, some cabinet structures, construction backing and woodwork substrate projects that require certain screw-holding strength and on-site processing convenience.
High-precision cabinet doors, high-gloss painted doors, humid environments, large flat door panels, fine carved profiles, or door panel projects that require high surface flatness, batch consistency and long-term dimensional stability.
Good screw-holding performance, easy processing and moderate weight. Suitable for door frames, wall panel substrates and on-site woodwork structures.
Quality varies significantly. Core strip jointing quality directly affects stability. Low-quality boards may have internal voids, uneven core strips, glue failure, warping or edge cracking.
Blockboard is more suitable as a substrate, not as a direct high-precision finished door panel. Key quality checks include whether the core strips are even, whether there are internal voids, whether both surface panels are flat, whether the bonding is firm, whether the board is warped, and whether the moisture content is stable.
