Drawer slide system is an important hardware system used in custom cabinetry and panel furniture to support drawers, control sliding movement and carry drawer weight. Compared with standard connecting hardware, drawer slides directly affect drawer load capacity, sliding smoothness, opening range, closing feel and long-term stability. In custom cabinetry projects, drawer slides should be selected according to drawer width, drawer depth, load requirement, whether full extension is needed, and whether soft-close or push-to-open function is required. The actual performance depends on slide material, steel thickness, surface treatment, load rating, installation accuracy and the parallel alignment of the left and right slides. For kitchen drawers, heavy-load drawers, wide drawers or high-frequency drawers, load capacity, sliding life and installation stability should be carefully considered.
