Flat Panel Door / Flat Cabinet Door

Flat panel cabinet door with a plain smooth surface

Flat Panel Door / Flat Cabinet Door

Flat panel door is one of the most basic and widely used cabinet door styles in custom cabinetry. It has a flat surface without obvious mouldings, grooves or decorative frames. Its visual effect is simple and clean, making it suitable for modern styles, minimalist styles and spaces that require a large unified cabinet surface. Compared with doors that have mouldings or complex profiles, flat panel doors are easier to control in terms of processing, edge banding, cleaning and batch production. They can be matched with different finishes according to project requirements. The final effect of flat panel doors depends on substrate flatness, door size, finish type, edge banding quality, hardware configuration and installation accuracy. For large cabinet doors or tall cabinet doors, door stability, deformation control and even door gaps should be carefully considered.
