Installation and Adjustment Hardware / Cabinet Installation Hardware

Installation and adjustment hardware is basic functional hardware used in custom cabinetry to support, fix, level and connect cabinets to walls or floors. Compared with exposed decorative hardware, installation and adjustment hardware usually does not directly affect cabinet appearance, but it directly affects installation stability, load-bearing safety, leveling performance and long-term reliability. In custom cabinetry projects, it should be selected according to cabinet weight, wall type, floor flatness, moisture protection requirements and installation method. The actual performance depends on material strength, load capacity, moisture resistance, fixing method, wall substrate and installation accuracy. For wall cabinets, tall cabinets, bathroom vanities and kitchen cabinets, wall load capacity, floor leveling, anti-tip measures and fixing reliability should be carefully considered.

Materials Detail

Common Types

Adjustable leveling feet, cabinet legs, toe-kick clips, wall cabinet hangers, mounting plates, wall connectors, anti-tip hardware

Common Materials

Plastic / nylon, cold-rolled steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy

Material and Selection Advice

Focus on load capacity, moisture resistance, installation stability and wall compatibility. Fixing hardware for wall cabinets, tall cabinets and heavy cabinets should be selected according to actual load requirements and wall conditions, not only by appearance.

Suitable Applications

Base cabinets, wall cabinets, tall cabinets, bathroom vanities, kitchen cabinets, wall-mounted cabinets and custom cabinet projects that require on-site leveling, fixing or anti-tip treatment.

Key Notes

Wall cabinets must be fixed securely, and tall cabinets should include anti-tip measures. Drywall should not be used as a direct load-bearing base without reinforcement. Wall substrate or reinforcement should be confirmed in advance to avoid cabinet loosening, sinking or installation safety problems later.
