Kasnan Wood

Kasnan wood surface with natural grain texture

Kasnan Wood

Kasnan wood is a wood material that can be used for solid wood components and veneer-finished applications in custom furniture and interior woodwork. It usually has a yellow-brown or light brown color, natural grain and a relatively mild visual appearance. It is suitable for custom woodwork projects that require a natural wood feel, soft grain effect and indoor decorative appearance. Kasnan can be used as solid wood, or processed into natural veneer and applied over stable substrates such as plywood or MDF. Since the market name of this wood is not fully standardized, its actual performance may vary depending on wood grade, origin, material density, moisture content control, veneer thickness, finishing process and batch stability.

Materials Detail

Common Thickness

18mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 40mm

Suitable Surface Treatments

Clear coat, PU finish, wood wax oil, staining, matte finish, clear protective coating

Suitable Applications

Furniture, cabinet doors, wall panels, mouldings, interior decorative woodwork, display cabinets, local woodwork details, veneer-finished surfaces, fixed furniture and decorative woodwork in residential, commercial and hotel projects.

Not Suitable For

Projects that require a clearly certified international wood species name, low-budget projects, large-area woodwork with extremely strict color consistency requirements, or projects where the wood species name, origin, grade, sample and batch consistency cannot be confirmed.

Advantages

Natural color and grain with certain decorative value. The material is relatively hard and suitable for indoor woodwork projects that require a mild grain effect and natural wood appearance.

Limitations

The market name is not fully standardized, and different origins or grades may vary significantly. It may also be confused with other wood species during procurement. Different batches may show differences in color, grain, density and stability.

Key Notes

Samples, origin, density and actual grain should be confirmed before procurement. For batch projects, confirm the wood species name, material source, color range, grain direction, moisture content and batch consistency before production. If the client has strict requirements for wood certification, English species name or origin, these details should be clarified during quotation and sampling to avoid later acceptance disputes.
