Metal Options

Metal options are supporting materials commonly used in custom cabinetry, display cabinets, wall panels, glass doors, commercial woodwork and hotel furniture. They are mainly used for door frames, edge trims, handle profiles, decorative panels, cabinet support structures and local decorative details. Compared with standard wood-based materials, metal offers better structural strength, edge finishing, modern appearance and decorative texture. It is suitable for custom projects that require stronger details, durable structures or a modern luxury effect. The final result depends on metal material, thickness, surface treatment, processing accuracy, installation method and the final application environment.

Materials Detail

Visual Effect

Available in metallic gloss, matte, brushed, mirror, black titanium effect, champagne gold, antique bronze, rose gold and matte powder-coated effects. Suitable for enhancing cabinet details and creating a more modern interior appearance.

Common Materials

Stainless steel, aluminum alloy, galvanized steel sheet, metal composite panel

Surface Treatments

Brushed finish, mirror finish, powder coating, anodizing, electroplating, PVD coating, paint coating, antique bronze treatment and anti-fingerprint coating

Suitable Applications

Metal frame glass doors, display cabinets, wine cabinets, wardrobe door frames, metal trims, handle profiles, wall panel edge finishing, commercial display spaces, hotel woodwork and modern luxury custom furniture.

Not Suitable For

Low-budget projects, humid or corrosive environments without proper surface treatment, positions that require extensive on-site cutting or drilling, or projects with low tolerance for scratches, fingerprints or metal color variation.

Processing / Installation Requirements

Material, thickness, surface color, edge finishing method, hole positions, connection method and installation relationship with woodwork, glass and stone should be confirmed in advance. Metal component dimensions and colors should be confirmed before production to avoid scratches, color differences or installation deviation caused by on-site secondary processing.

Advantages

Strong structural appearance and good durability. Suitable for door frames, edge trims, handle profiles and local decorative details, helping to improve cabinet detail quality and modern spatial effect.

Limitations

Usually more expensive than standard wood edge materials. The surface may show scratches, fingerprints or color variation. Some metals require better anti-rust or anti-corrosion treatment in humid environments.

Key Notes

Confirm metal material, thickness, surface treatment, color batch, edge finishing, hole positions and installation method. For hotel, commercial or batch projects, samples, acceptable color variation, wear resistance, anti-fingerprint effect and on-site protection requirements should be confirmed in advance to avoid scratches, oxidation, color differences or inconsistent edge finishing.
